Drafts and approvals
CoSell's AI features never write to Zoho or Partner Central on their own. What they suggest becomes a proposal. A person approves it, edits it first, or rejects it, and only then does CoSell make the change.
Draft next steps and a summary
On a deal's page, Draft next steps and summary reads:
- the Zoho deal and its ten latest notes;
- what AWS last said (review comments, AWS next steps, the AWS team);
- meeting notes or a transcript you paste (up to 15,000 characters).
It returns two proposals:
- Next steps, at most 255 characters (ACE's limit). Approving saves them to the deal's next-steps field in Zoho
(
Next_Stepunless your mapping says otherwise), and CoSell sends them to AWS. - A summary of where the deal stands. Approving adds it as a note on the Zoho deal.
It also lists the facts AWS reviewers will likely ask for. You can edit either text before approving. A newer draft replaces older ones that nobody approved.
Proposals from the assistant and from Partner Central
The assistant proposes syncs, next steps, deal-field changes and invitation decisions. The Partner Central agent can propose changes too, when your workspace allows it.
| Proposal | Approving it | Who can approve |
|---|---|---|
| Next steps, deal fields | Updates the Zoho deal; the sync sends it to AWS | Roles that sync deals |
| Summary | Adds a note to the Zoho deal | Roles that sync deals |
| Sync now | Syncs the deal from Zoho | Roles that sync deals |
| Accept or reject an invitation | Answers the AWS referral | Roles that decide invitations |
| A Partner Central change | Partner Central makes it | Roles that sync deals |
A proposal is decided once: if two people act at the same moment, the second is told it was already decided. Proposals nobody decides expire after 7 days; Partner Central's expire with its 48-hour session. Every decision, edit and outcome is recorded in the audit log.
