Bulk operations
Bulk operations start from Opportunities. Each one runs as a bulk job that shows the result of every row under Bulk jobs. Starting one needs a role that can sync deals.
Import deals from a CSV
On Opportunities, click Import CSV, then Download the template. Its columns follow your mapping: the deal, customer and contact fields CoSell sends to AWS, then Stage and Submit to AWS.
Fill one row per deal and choose the file. Dates are
YYYY-MM-DD, and amounts may keep their currency symbols and digit grouping.CoSell checks every row before anything is written:
- Opportunity title, Customer company, Target close date and Stage are always required, and the stage must be one of your Zoho stages.
- Rows marked Submit to AWS: yes also need what AWS requires, such as the website, industry, country and business problem.
- Rows with problems are listed with the reason and left out.
Click Import. For each row CoSell:
- finds the account by name, or creates it;
- finds the contact by email, or creates it;
- creates the Zoho deal.
Rows marked yes are submitted to AWS at once; the others sync as usual, through your deal filter and gate.
A file may have up to 100 rows.
Change the stage or fields of many deals
Tick deals on Opportunities (or Select all shown), then Change stage or fields:
- Stage offers your Zoho stages, with the ACE stage each maps to. When the stage closes the deal as lost, you can give the reason for loss.
- You can also set the target close date and next steps. Fields left empty are not changed.
CoSell changes each deal in Zoho, and the normal sync sends the change to AWS. AWS does not move a launched opportunity, so those deals are skipped with that reason.
Reassign opportunities in Partner Central
Tick deals, then Reassign in Partner Central. Choose a Zoho user, or type a name and email. The person becomes the partner account manager of each opportunity in Partner Central. Deals AWS does not have yet are skipped.
If you keep owners the same in Zoho and AWS (see mapping), each Zoho deal follows.
Now or later
Every bulk change can run now or at a time you choose, up to 30 days ahead. A scheduled job starts within 15 minutes of its time.
Bulk jobs
Bulk jobs lists every job, newest first, with its counts:
- done;
- failed, with AWS's or Zoho's own message;
- skipped, with the reason.
Show rows lists every deal. Cancel stops a scheduled or running job, and rows it has not reached are skipped. Jobs are kept for 90 days.
