Private offers
If you sell on AWS Marketplace, a deal's page shows its AWS Marketplace private offers. They appear once AWS has the opportunity.
What you see
For each offer linked to the opportunity:
- its name and ID;
- its state (draft or released);
- the buyer's AWS account;
- when the offer ends;
- whether the buyer accepted it, and the agreement's status and end date.
The Zoho deal's ACE Marketplace Offers field lists the linked offer IDs. If your Zoho connection predates this field, Re-activate it under Settings → Zoho CRM to create the field. If Zoho answers that the field limit is reached, your Zoho edition has no room left for another text field on Deals. You have two options:
- delete a single-line or multi-line Deals field you no longer use, then re-activate;
- switch the field off under Zoho write-back fields.
Offers still show on the deal in CoSell without the field.
Link an existing offer
Choose one of your private offers for the customer's AWS account, or paste any offer's ID or ARN, and click Link offer. CoSell links it to the opportunity in Partner Central.
Draft a new offer
Choose the product, check the customer's 12-digit AWS account ID (taken from the deal when your mapping has it), and click Draft offer.
- AWS Marketplace creates a draft private offer for that buyer, usually within a minute or two.
- CoSell then links it to the opportunity and tells you, with a link to the offer in the AWS Marketplace Management Portal.
- You add pricing, terms and an end date, then release it there: CoSell never releases an offer.
Access
Reading and linking offers, and drafting them, use the role from your onboarding stack. If the card says the role cannot read AWS Marketplace:
- update your stack with the latest template (how);
- check that the AWS account sells on AWS Marketplace.
