Review queue

The Review queue lists Zoho deals headed for AWS that are not in Partner Central yet. For each deal you can:

  • see what AWS would say about it;
  • fill in what is missing in one form;
  • approve it for AWS, or set it aside.

On approval, CoSell creates the opportunity in Partner Central and submits it for AWS review. From then on, Zoho and AWS stay in step on their own.

Which deals appear

A deal appears when it matches Which deals go to AWS under Mapping, for example Offerings contains AWS or the Co-sell with AWS checkbox. Deals join the queue as they change in Zoho.

  • Older deals. Find AWS deals in Zoho looks through the 200 most recently changed deals and adds any matching deal CoSell has not seen yet.
  • Closed deals never appear.

Choose how deals reach AWS

Under Settings → General → How Zoho deals reach AWS:

  • On their own, once complete at the submission stage (the default). A deal that reaches your submission stage with complete data goes to AWS without review. The queue still lists the others, so you can fix and send them.
  • After someone approves each one in the review queue. No Zoho deal goes to AWS until someone approves it here.

Opportunities already in Partner Central keep updating either way.

Review a deal

Open a deal from the queue. The form groups what AWS needs by where it lives in Zoho: the deal, the customer's account and the contact. For each field you see:

  • Where it is saved. For example Zoho Account → Website.
  • What AWS receives. Shown when the mapping changes the value: a Zoho industry becomes an AWS industry, and an amount in your currency becomes monthly USD.
  • What is wrong. These are the same checks CoSell runs before it sends anything, so Ready for AWS means AWS should accept the opportunity.

Save to Zoho writes your changes into the right Zoho records:

  • A deal with no account or contact yet. Give the company name, or the contact's last name and email, and CoSell creates them in Zoho and links them to the deal.
  • A field your Zoho org does not have (custom AWS fields such as Primary needs from AWS). The value is kept on the deal in CoSell and sent with it.

The stage matters: AWS takes new opportunities from Qualified onwards, so a deal at a Zoho stage that maps to Prospect needs its stage moved first.

Delivery model, sales activities and customer use case offer AWS's own values when Zoho has no list for them. AWS accepts nothing else for these fields.

A deal AWS created but did not submit

AWS can create an opportunity and then refuse the submission, for example when it lacks a delivery model. Such a deal shows Complete and submit on its page. That button opens the same form. Fill in what is missing, then choose Submit to AWS. CoSell sends the changes to the opportunity AWS already holds, then submits it. A deal in this state cannot be set aside, because it already exists in Partner Central.

Work on many deals at once

Tick deals in the queue, or tick the box in the header for every deal shown. Then use the bar above the list:

  • Review selected. Walk through the chosen deals one after another. Previous and Next sit at the top, and approving or setting a deal aside moves on to the next.
  • Approve N ready. Approves the selected deals that are ready for AWS. CoSell creates and submits each one in the background. Deals that are not ready are skipped with the reason.
  • Set a field. Gives one field the same value on every selected deal, for example Country = India or an industry. Each value is saved into that deal's own Zoho record. Values that belong to one deal only, such as the website, the business problem or the amount, are not offered.
  • Not for AWS. Sets the selected deals aside with one reason.
  • Bring back to review. Under Not for AWS, returns the selected deals to the queue.

The Show list narrows the queue to deals that are ready for AWS, need fixing, or have not been checked yet.

Approve or set aside

  • Approve and send to AWS saves any unsaved changes, then creates and submits the opportunity. The deal page opens with its ACE opportunity ID.
  • Not for AWS takes the deal out of the queue, optionally with a reason. CoSell never sends it. It is listed under Not for AWS, where Bring back to review returns it to the queue.

Every save, approval and set-aside is recorded in the audit log. Reviewing needs a role that can sync deals (alliance manager, sales ops or admin).
