CoSell CRM
CoSell CRM is a lightweight CRM inside CoSell, for teams that don't use Zoho CRM. Deals, customers and contacts live in CoSell. A deal marked for co-sell syncs to AWS Partner Central exactly as a Zoho deal would, and what AWS says comes back to it.
A workspace uses one CRM: Zoho CRM or CoSell CRM.
Turn it on
- Open Settings → CRM. A workspace without a CRM sees No CRM? Use CoSell CRM.
- Choose Use CoSell CRM. There is nothing to install or authorize, and the CRM step of onboarding is done.
Only workspace admins can choose the CRM. Turn off on the same page stops sync and keeps the deals, so turning it on again finds them. To move to Zoho CRM, turn CoSell CRM off first, then connect Zoho.
Add a deal
Deals in the menu lists your pipeline with what AWS says about each deal: its opportunity, review status and sync state. New deal asks for:
- The deal: name, stage, expected monthly AWS spend (USD), target close date, the customer's business problem, and Co-sell with AWS.
- For AWS: the customer's use case, delivery models, sales activities and primary needs from AWS, in AWS's own values.
- The customer: company, website, industry and address.
- A contact, if you have one.
Saving a deal with Co-sell with AWS ticked queues its sync at once. From the stage your mapping submits at (Needs Analysis by default), CoSell creates the opportunity in Partner Central and submits it for review. A deal at an earlier stage waits in CoSell, and nothing reaches AWS until it gets there. A second deal for the same company joins its existing customer record.
AWS needs a state for a customer in the US. CoSell checks it before submitting, so a missing state shows on the deal rather than as a refusal from AWS.
How it works with the rest of CoSell
CoSell CRM keeps Zoho's field names, so the default mapping needs no changes. Everything else works as it does with Zoho:
- review queue
- Import from Partner Central, which creates CoSell CRM deals
- accepted invitations and converted leads
- pipeline health
- Ask Partner Central
People who can sync opportunities add and change deals. Viewers can read them.
No registered solution?
AWS links a submitted opportunity to one of your solutions in Partner Central. If none fits, say what you offer under Mapping → No registered solution? What you offer. CoSell sends it as the opportunity's other solution when no solution ID is set. Partner Central's Sandbox accepts submissions that way; the live catalog may still ask for a registered solution.
